A Creator Shaped by Code, Culture, and Connection
My journey into tech started with people, not pixels. Whether serving behind a bar, building a small business, or designing a brand, I’ve always been driven by curiosity and connection. Today, I bring that same mindset to development—writing code with intention, empathy, and a creative spark.
I’m Andres, a senior at Arizona State University studying Graphic Information Technology with a focus on full stack development. My journey into this field has been shaped by a mix of creativity, business ownership, and people centered work, giving me a perspective that goes beyond just coding.
I’ve owned a boba tea shop, where I learned how to build a brand and deliver memorable customer experiences. As a marketing coordinator in Scottsdale, I worked on campaigns and visual communication that taught me the value of design strategy. I also started my own photography business, which sharpened my eye for detail and visual storytelling. On top of that, 15 years of bartending strengthened my emotional intelligence, adaptability, and ability to thrive in fast paced environments.
These experiences influence the way I approach technology today. I specialize in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C++, and Angular, using these skills to build responsive, user friendly applications. I’m committed to continuous learning, keeping up with the latest tools and trends to stay adaptable in a fast moving industry.
Looking ahead, my goal is to grow as a full-stack developer and eventually create my own applications that merge design, technology, and real world impact. For me, it’s not just about building software it’s about creating meaningful solutions that people can connect with.
